In the 28 years that soundlounge have been in business, we have had many company achievements & music synchronisation ‘firsts’ - here are just a few:

 

• 1980 - First company to recognise the difference between a synch licence for film and advertising
• First company in Europe to set up a Rights Clearance for Advertising – 7 years before the Music Industry recognised the need
• First company to perceive and write anew music insurance policy with Hiscox in 2000
• First company to put on a conference and bring the Music and Advertising business together in one room 1999
• Sat in Michael Jackson’s office for 2 days to get a clearance before we actually got seen – new catalogue from Beatles
• First to licence the Beatles
• Negotiated for 48 hours continuously for Madonna
• Cleared rights for the conservative and Labour parties to get them in to power
• Worked on a Clinton campaign to launch a new foundation
• First company to be involved in the first ever advertising injunction and win
• First company to talk about the sound of the brand
• We conceptualised and wrote the first synch contracts with Publishers
• First company to licence The Who and negotiate for promotional material to be included in the commercial to promote Tommy the Musical
• First company to licence an iconic seminal master for £1 for the world!
• Worked with and kept major clients for 28 years
• First company to conceptualise the Sound of the Brand
• First Sheryl Crow track
