What is Music Licensing? Clients ask us all the time “What is music licensing, what music license will I need and what will be the licensing fees?”  We tell clients there are two basic rules:

1) All music that accompanies a: film, commercial, game or any digital platform needs some kind of license.
2) All music usage will incur fees which vary according to  the way it is used.
Music licensing has been our business for more than  30 years.  We know licensing costs and we secure music clearances with all the necessary permissions fast. We also carry full PI. So when our clients ask what should we do about licensing, we say “leave it to us” and they do.
