As a psychologist myself I've always wondered why there weren't any psychologists in the branding agencies. For what we've learned in college we're best equipped to understand the consumer than someone who hasn't studied psychology in depth.
Obviously the psychologist would have to be able not only to apply his knowledge to branding but also to have an in depth understanding of branding itself as well. What I'm saying is that there are people in all the branding agencies responsible for studying the consumer behaviour, but I think the agencies would be better off if these people were psychology graduates.
